School Programs
Turnip Green partners with MNPS schools through our sustainable art after school club, Turnip Sprouts, enrichment programs, and creativity kits! Program outcomes include: engaging students in creative hands-on art programming with 100% material diverted from landfill, STEAM based curriculum, individual and collaborative working, and empowering students in the realm of environmentalism.
FIELD TRIPS
Learn more about what Turnip Green does by coming to our space! Field Trips to Turnip Green include a group tour of our Creative Reuse Center, Artist Marketplace & Gallery, and Open Studio. After the tour, find materials from our shop and learn more about our mission of fostering creativity and sustainability through reuse by picking out materials from our shop to use for your creative reuse project lead by our staff.
Community Programs
Our community programs partner alongside other organizations in the community to provide access to education programs that support our mission of creativity and sustainability. Examples of these programs include: a booth at your event, a Teaching Artist coming to your organization, providing creativity kits, supplying materials for your event, teaching a zero waste class. Our team will work with you to meet the goals of your program together!
