Waste Reduction Class

In partnership with Metro Public Works and Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation (TDEC), TGCR hosts free private and public classes on reducing, reusing, recycling, and composting, as well as litter pick-ups. To schedule a private class or table at your event, contact our Program Manager. To view public classes, visit our calendar.



TGCR hosts recurring after school programs in 15 different MNPS schools. In these programs, students learn about the importance and enjoyment of reuse through creating take-home art projects, science experiments, school installations, and more.

TGCR hosts reuse art activities for private events, such as birthday parties, corporate gatherings, and festival booths. All activities use our donated materials and are specialized for the event theme and age group. For more info about private events, contact our program manager.
