Please join us for our first show of the year, Paper in Particular. This exhibition features works created on and from paper, such as collage, paintings, origami, and more. A variety of reuse artists — from established visual artists to emerging artists, to the young artists/students within our education programs — use their unique styles to explore the endless possibilities of ways to give this common and accessible material a second life.
We invite you to join us at the opening in our Green Gallery on Saturday, January 13th in conjunction with the East Side Stumble from 7pm –10pm. Join us for a night full of celebrating all things art and paper, complimentary refreshments, and create an upcycled, reuse paper artwork of your own under the direction of our education coordinator, Beth Reitmeyer. Participants will work with commonly discarded scraps of paper and give them new life. This take home project (or add your art to the exhibition!) is free of charge and suitable for all ages and skill levels.
Make sure to stop by and say hi to our neighbors at Platetone Printmaking to enjoy more art and another complimentary workshop!
If you are unable to attend on Saturday, you are invited to view the show until February 7th during our hours of operation or by appointment.
